Effect of Ozonated Fertigation in Pepper Cultivation under Greenhouse Conditions

نویسندگان

چکیده

Ozone has a high oxidizing power avoiding the presence of residues, so it is good candidate for use in organic farming. However, its application fertigation been little studied. Two experiments were conducted simultaneously to check aims this work. The aim first experiment was study pepper response under nutrient solution supply and O3 interactions, second determine optimal dosage be supplied, from point view plant development nutritional physiological status both experiments. We conclude that via increased biomass production. According results obtained, we recommend plants 0.18 0.36 mg L−1 due higher associated Under these dosages, showed leaf area photosynthetic pigment concentration. Similarly, N, P, K uptake higher, allowing synthesis bioassimilates.

Use of Fertigation and Municipal Solid Waste Compost for Greenhouse Pepper Cultivation

Municipal solid waste compost (MSWC) and/or fertigation used in greenhouse pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) cultivation with five different substrates with soil (S) and/or MSWC mixtures (0-5-10-20-40%) used with or without fertigation. Plants growth increased in 10-20% MSWC and fertigation enhanced mainly the plant height. Fruit number increased in S : MSWC 80 : 20 without fertilizer. Plant biomass ...

Effect of amino acid and mycorrhiza inoculation on sweet pepper growth under greenhouse conditions

ABSTRACT- The production of greenhouse sweet pepper is increasing because of the consumer demand for sweet pepper year around. In this study, physiological characteristics of sweet pepper were evaluated in a greenhouse under different levels of arbascular mycorrhizal fungus, Glomus intraradices, (AMF) and various levels of amino acid (AA). Treatments included no AMF as a control (AMF1), 1000 sp...

Application of an electronic tongue using potentiometric sensors to fertigation strategy in greenhouse cultivation

For actual needs of increasing crop production and quality in modern agriculture, fertigation is an established approach to implement advanced control schemes. The basic idea of this strategy is to maintain the concentration of specific ions in the recirculated drainage water at a desired level for optimal global function. In this way, nutrients which are uptaken by the plants must be refilled,...

the effect of taftan pozzolan on the compressive strength of concrete in the environmental conditions of oman sea (chabahar port)

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...

Effect of grafting on eggplant leaf gas exchanges under mediterranean greenhouse conditions

Grafting is an easier and faster approach than plant breeding to take advantage of both existing resistant plants, especially wild cultivars, and high-bred cultivars. The aim of this study was to investigate the changes in leaf photosynthetic capacity of a hybrid eggplant Solanum melongena L., cv. Rima (R), widely used in Greece] when grafted on tomato rootstocks known for their resistance to n...
